INGREDIENTS

4 tablespoons sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 cup chicken stock
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
1 garlic clove, crushed with salt
1/4 teaspoon salt

Combine sugar, soy sauce, and stock. Bring to a boil. Mix cornstarch with water until smooth. Add to sauce. Stir until sauce is thickened. Simmer, stirring for 1 minute. Stir in garlic that has been crushed with salt.
