Garlic Sauce (Filipino)

INGREDIENTS

1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup soy sauce
1-1/2 cups chicken stock
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 garlic cloves, minced
4 tablespoons water

Combine the sugar, soy sauce and stock. Cook for 2 minutes. Dissolve the cornstarch in the water, and add to the pan. Cook, stirring constantly, over high heat, until the sauce thickens.

Serve the sauce hot, sprinkled with minced garlic. Serve with Lumpia or Ukoy.
