Choctaw Gooseberry Pie

INGREDIENTS

2 cups sugar
1 tablespoon flour
2 cups gooseberries
2 tablespoons butter
Pie crust for 2-crust pie

Blend sugar and flour in bowl; then add the butter and cut into dry ingredients. Add the gooseberries.

Line pie plate with bottom crust. Add the gooseberry mixture. Put on the top crust, vent for steam. Bake about 35 minutes in a 425 degree oven.
