Green Corn Pudding

INGREDIENTS 2-1/2 cups fresh or frozen corn
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1-1/2 tablespoons flour
2-1/2 tablespoons melted butter
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup light cream
1/2 cup dry bread crumbsPreheat oven to 350 degrees.
If the corn is frozen, let it thaw. Combine corn with remaining ingredients except bread crumbs and pour into a greased 1-1/2 quart baking dish.
Sprinkle with bread crumbs and dot with butter before baking. Bake in preheated oven for 35 minutes.
NOTE - Milk may be substituted for the light cream but the dish won't be as rich.
