Sautéed Apples

INGREDIENTS

4 Granny Smith apples (or however many you want)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup brandy (or rum, whatever you like)
Raisins, optional
Pecans, optional

Peel, slice and core apples. (If you do this the night before, pour a little orange juice with a couple of tablespoons of Fruit Fresh over the apples and drain before you toss with brown sugar.)

Toss with brown sugar and sauté just until tender. Throw in a few raisins and some pecans, if desired. Simmer for a couple of minutes, then cool slightly.
