Butterscotch Sauce

INGREDIENTS

2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons light corn syrup
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 (5-ounce) can evaporated milk

Combine brown sugar, corn syrup, and butter in a saucepan; bring mixture to a boil over medium-low heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in salt and evaporated milk.

Serve sauce warm over ice cream.

Makes 2-1/2 cups
