Apple Crisp 2

INGREDIENTS 6 large cooking apples, peeled, cored, and chopped (about 2-1/2 pounds)
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecansCombine first 5 ingredients in a large bowl; stir well. Place apple mixture in a 2-quart casserole.
Combine flour, 1/2 cup sugar, and salt in a medium mixing bowl; cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in chopped walnuts, and sprinkle mixture evenly over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until lightly browned.
