Flaming Peaches with Almonds

INGREDIENTS 12 halves fresh or canned peaches
1 tablespoon chopped glazed orange peel or citron
1/4 cup chopped toasted almonds
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1/4 cup brandy
2 additional tablespoons brandyPeel, pit and halve the peaches. Chop and toast the almonds. Add the sugar and peel and blend thoroughly.
Fill the peaches with the mixture and sprinkle with brandy. Place in a buttered ovenproof dish and bake for 10 minutes in a preheated 350 degree oven.
Bring the peaches warm to the table and flame with brandy.
Serve with Praline Crepes or a Melba Sauce.
