Conversation Heart Cereal Treats

INGREDIENTS

2 tablespoons butter or margarine
20 large marshmallows
3 cups frosted oat cereal with marshmallow bits
12 large coversation hearts (valentine heart candy)

Line a 8 or 9-inch square pan with aluminum foil, leaving 2-inch overhangs on 2 sides. Generously spray or grease with nonstick cooking spray.

Melt margarine and marshmallows over medium heat 3 minutes or until melted and smooth; stir constantly. Remove from heat.

Add cereal; stir until completely coated. Scrape into prepared pan and press evenly onto bottom using greased rubber spatula. Press candies into top of treats while still warm, evenly spacing to allow 1 candy per bar. Let cool 10 minutes.

Using foil overhangs as handles, remove treats from pan. Cut into 12 bars.

Makes 12 bars
