Bourbon Balls

INGREDIENTS

1 (6-ounce) package semi-sweet chocolate chips
3 tablespoons light corn syrup
¼ cup bourbon or orange juice
½ cup sugar
1-¼ cups crushed vanilla wafers
1 cup finely chopped pecans or walnuts
1 (4-ounce) container chocolate decorating sprinkles

Melt chocolate chips in top of double boiler over simmering water; remove from heat.

Blend in corn syrup and bourbon; stir in sugar, cookies and nuts until well combined.

Roll mixture, a rounded teaspoon at a time, into balls between palms of your hands, roll balls in sprinkles generously; pressing firmly as you roll.

Place in jelly roll pan; cover; chill several hours.
