Rosy Blanketed Beans

INGREDIENTS 1 pound green beans
1 large onion, chopped
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 slices bacon
1 can (1-1/4 cups) condensed tomato soupWash and remove ends from beans; combine with onion and salt in a saucepan. Cover and cook in a small amount of water (about 1 cup) until beans are tender, about 15 minutes; drain.
Meanwhile, cook bacon and break into small pieces. Add soup and beans to bacon in skillet; heat until piping hot and serve.
Makes 4 servings
