Beef Skillet Dinner

INGREDIENTS

2 tablespoons shortening
1 pound ground beef
29-ounce can whole tomatoes, cut up
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1-½ cups chopped cabbage
2 tablespoons parsley
1 cup uncooked macaroni
½ cup Cheddar cheese, grated

Heat shortening in a large skillet, then add round beef and cook until browned. Drain fat from skillet. Blend tomato, salt, and Worcestershire sauce, with ground beef in skillet. Bring to a boil.

Add cabbage, parsley and macaroni. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.

Sprinkle with grated Cheddar cheese and serve hot.
