Candied Sweet Potatoes

INGREDIENTS

1 (29-ounce) can sweet potatoes
2 cups sugar
1/4 cup butter

Drain juice from sweet potatoes. Combine juice with sugar and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes.

Place sweet potatoes in a casserole dish, pour syrup over the top and place butter pats over the potatoes.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until syrup is thick, basting sweet potatoes often.
