Peanutty Brownies

These double crunch brownies are sure to be a hit.

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of salt
1 cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Combine the peanut butter, butter, and sugars in a large bowl; beat until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time; beat well. Stir in the vanilla and set aside.

Combine the flour, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl. Slowly aadd to the peanut butter mixture. Stir in the pecans.

Spread the batter into a 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.

Makes 16 to 18 pieces
