INGREDIENTS

2 ounces unsweetened chocolate
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs, lightly beaten
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Butter and flour an 8-inch square baking pan. Set aside.

Melt the chocolate with the butter in a saucepan over low heat. Remove from the heat and stir in the sugar. Stir in the eggs and vanilla and mix until smooth.

Add flour, salt and nuts and stir until smooth. Pour into the prepared pan.

Bake about 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

NOTE - I personally prefer pecans to walnuts in this recipe, but this is your choice.
