Buttermilk Brownies

INGREDIENTS

4 cups flour
4 cups sugar
8 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup butter or margarine
2 cups water
1 cup oil

Mix flour, sugar and cocoa. Bring to a boil - margarine, water and oil. Pour margarine mixture over flour mixture.

ADD

2 teaspoons baking soda
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla

Mix well.

Pour into greased sheet cake pan and bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.

BUTTERMILK FROSTING

1 cup butter or margarine
2/3 cup buttermilk
2 pounds powdered sugar
8 tablespoons cocoa powder
2 teaspoons vanilla

Melt margarine with buttermilk. Add to powdered sugar, cocoa and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Frosts one sheet cake.
