INGREDIENTS

1-1/2 sticks margarine
1 pound box light brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 eggs, lightly beaten
2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
6 ounce package chocolate chips
1 can shelled walnuts, chopped fine

Mix together the margarine, brown sugar, vanilla and eggs. Sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda and add to first mixture. Add the chocolate chips and nuts.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes in an 8-1/2 x 15-inch pan that has been lightly greased and floured.
