Jell-O Strawberry Bavarian Pie

A beautiful dessert, gossamer light and smooth as silk. Garnish with whole fresh strawberries if you like.

INGREDIENTS

1 (3-ounce) package Jell-O Strawberry Gelatin
1 tablespoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon salt
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
1 (10-ounce) package Birds Eye Quick Thaw Strawberries
1 cup Birds Eye Cool Whip Non-Dairy Whipped Topping, thawed
1 baked 9-inch pie shell, cooled

Dissolve Jell-O, sugar and salt in boiling water. Add cold water and frozen strawberries. Stir gently until fruit thaws and separates. Chill until slightly thickened.

Add whipped topping; blend until smooth. (Mixture may appear slightly curdled but will smooth out on blending.) Pour into pie shell.

Chill until firm, about 4 hours. Garnish with additional whipped topping, and mint leaves, if desired.

Makes one 9-inch pie
