Durkee Pork Chops and Rice

INGREDIENTS

PORK CHOPS

4 (1-inch thick) pork chops
1 can golden mushroom soup
1 teaspoon ginger
1 can Durkee Fried Onion Rings

RICE ALMANDINE

2 tablespoons butter
1/4 cup slivered almonds
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 cup raw rice
1 can beef consommé

FOR THE CHOPS - Brown chops in oil. Place them in a greased casserole. Mix soup with ginger and cover chops. Top with onion rings.

Bake 1-1/2 hours at 400 degrees, covered, or until chops are done and tender.

RICE ALMANDINE- In butter, sauté almonds and garlic. Add consommé and 1/4 cup water. Add rice. Bring to boil. Put in separate greased casserole and bake in oven with pork chops.
