Chocolate Butterscotch Pie

America's two favorite flavors, chocolate and butterscotch, combine in this unusual pie recipe from Hershey's famous 1934 cookbook.
INGREDIENTS
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2-1/2 cups milk
6 tablespoons Hershey's Chocolate-Flavored Syrup
2 egg yolks, beaten
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 (9-inch) baked pie shellThoroughly combine sugar, flour and salt. Stir in milk, chocolate syrup and beaten egg yolks. Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; blend in butter and vanilla.
Pour into baked pie shell; cool. Chill in refrigerator. Serve with sweetened whipped cream, if desired.
Makes one 9-inch pie
