Brown Beer Sauce

Serve with leftover beef, pork, or turkey, or spoon on mashed potatoes.

INGREDIENTS

3 tablespoons butter
3 tablespoons flour
1 can or bottle (12 ounces) beer
2 beef bouillon cubes
2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
Dash of pepper

In a medium saucepan, melt butter; stir in flour.

Add beer gradually while stirring. Add bouillon cubes, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper.

Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened. Continue cooking and stirring 1 minute longer.

Makes 1-1/2 cups
