INGREDIENTS 1 can beer 1/2 cup water 1/4 cup butter 1 tablespoon garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 6 bratwurst, uncooked 6 brat buns, hoagie rolls or hot dog buns In a large saucepan combine beer, water, butter, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Add brats and bring to a boil, uncovered. Boil for 15 minutes. Remove brats and discard cooking liquid. Grill brats directly over medium-high coals for 15 minutes, turning frequently, until brats are cooked through. Serve on buns with favorite toppings. Makes 6 brats
