Bacon and Smoked Oysters

INGREDIENTS

1/2 pound bacon strips
2 cans smoked oysters
40 round wooded toothpicks
1/4 cup light vegetable oil
3 tablespoons garlic, minced

Cut bacon strips in thirds. Wrap a bacon slice around each oyster and place a toothpick through it to hold it in place.

In a medium skillet, heat oil, add garlic. Cook wrapped oysters in oil until bacon is crisp. Remove from pan and place on paper towels to drain.
