Creamed Chicken

INGREDIENTS

2 tablespoons butter or chicken fat
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
Dash of pepper
1 teaspoon minced celery leaves
1 cup milk
1 cup chicken broth
2 cups cooked, diced chicken

Melt butter. Add flour, salt, pepper, and celery leaves. Stir until smooth.

Add milk and chicken broth. Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add chicken and heat thoroughly. Serve with Floating Islands.

Makes 4 to 6 servings
